FCRA: what you may and may not do
People Details is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.), and the information on this site does not constitute a “consumer report.” You agree not to use any report for any FCRA-covered purpose.
Prohibited uses
Do not use People Details reports, in whole or in part, for:
- Employment screening, hiring, or promotion decisions
- Tenant screening or rental decisions
- Credit, lending, or insurance underwriting
- Education admissions or scholarship decisions
- Any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act
Permitted personal uses
- Reconnecting with family, friends, or lost contacts
- Identifying unknown callers and suspected spam
- Verifying a seller, date, or new acquaintance for personal safety
- Researching your own public footprint
- Genealogy and family-history research
Enforcement
We monitor for misuse patterns and terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. If you need FCRA-compliant screening, use an accredited consumer reporting agency — we are happy to point you to public resources on choosing one.
